Student Council
In order to have a link between faculty and students and help students in solving problem, making them responsible and accountable, fostering quality of leadership, making them active partners in smooth functioning of the Vidyalaya, students council should be constituted.
DUTIES OF MEMBERS OF STUDENT COUNCIL
SCHOOL CAPTAIN(BOY/GIRL)
- Provide guidance to and support the children of your house in a variety of household competitions.
- Work closely with the CCA teacher who lead to extracurricular program, providing input to the teacher and providing ideas for engaging activities and house events.
- Disperse regular meetings among the house.
- Encourge the students of different houses.
- Put forth a good example at all times in behavior, attitude and dress.
- Be available for out of school events.
SCHOOL VICE CAPTAIN(BOY/GIRL)
The vice captain may have a number of different roles, including substituting as captain when the regular captain is injured or unavailable, or becoming the new captain if the original captain cant actually be the captain anymore.
SCHOOL SPORTS CAPTAIN/VICE CAPTAIN(BOY/GIRL)
- A sports captain is not just a title, it is a responsibility, a duty and a personification of commitment and teamwork. A sports captain is the backbone of a team. They hold the baton of leadership, organizing and uniting the team. They are tasked to bring out the best in each player, ensuring everyone is working harmoniously towards a shared goal.
- Sports leaders are responsible for representing the school in sporting events in school or outside the school. They are the discipline in charges and are also responsible for creating healthy sporting environment for all the children in the school.
HOUSE CAPTAIN/VICE CAPTAIN(BOY/GIRL)
A house captain would be a position held by a student who excels in both sports and cocurricular activities. He would be a student, who is involved in one or more of the many arts activities organized in school at inter house level. He will be working very closely with house moderators.
HOUSE CCA CAPTAIN/CCA VISE CAPTAIN(BOY/GIRL)
They are students who have shown a strong interest in cultural events like dance, drama, music, debate, elocution etc and are always ready to work extra hours in close association with teacher event in charges and are keen to be involved in promoting cultural activities and events that occur throughout the school year.
